Background
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental & Sustainability Sciences and Development Sociology from Cornell University’s College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. After graduation, I worked professionally on public land management with organizations like the National Park Service, United States Forest Service, and Society for Wilderness Stewardship.
These days, I am a student at Vermont Law & Graduate School and Yale’s School of the Environment. I am participating in their Juris Doctorate and Masters of Environmental Management dual-degree program.
AREAs of INTERESt
I have lived in a lot of places— Vermont, Upstate New York, Southern India, Northwest Arkansas, the Pacific Northwest, California, and the Caribbean to name a few. No matter the country, state, or landscape I find myself in, being outside feels familiar; the outdoors is where I go to better understand myself and my role in this world. I am interested in how people relate to the ecologies they inhabit, how people articulate those relationships, and how formal governance does or does not interfere with that relationship.
